New integrated services in Islington

We are excited to announce the new integrated services in Islington in partnership with Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust, WDP and Blenheim. The new service model has been clinically proven to be effective, with many positive benefits. Its focus will be on greater collaboration with service users, with a shift towards venues in the community where more people can access expert help.

The new service is due to start on 1 April and will be phased in over a period of months. We know that change is difficult and we have been working hard to keep everyone informed, on an individual basis, of any difference to how you currently access your care. This work will continue up to and beyond the launch date for the new service.

We are delighted that we will still be providing services to families affected by someone’s substance misuse and working with parents using substances and their children. A service user that has recently accessed this support said:

“An extremely understanding and supportive service which has been very helpful to my family. The worker has been an amazing support and pillar of strength through a very difficult and stressful period in my life.”

In the lead-up to 1 April, we will be running information sessions at the following venues where everyone is welcome to come along and ask further questions or to raise any concerns:
