Cleo completes the London marathon to raise money for Humankind

Cleo Chevalier completed the London marathon on Sunday 28th April, to raise over £400 for the Humankind Service User Fund.

Cleo sadly lost her Dad in 2012 after a lengthy battle with drug and alcohol addiction and wanted to support a charity that helps people facing similar situations. Cleo said:

“I chose Blenheim, part of Humankind, because I wanted to run for a cause close to my heart and they seemed like the perfect fit. Although he himself was never a service user, I think they do incredible work with people going through similar but nonetheless unique challenges.

I think the marathon was the best and at the same time, the worst thing I have ever done. The atmosphere, the crowds, strangers shouting support, the music along the whole route was all incredible. Hobbling up stairs now is less fun.”

All the money that Cleo has raised will go towards the Humankind Service User Fund which supports people with essential items, such as work clothes, furniture for a new home or service user group outings.

Cleo’s Just Giving page is still open if you would like to donate and show your support.
