Collective Voice response to DCLG consultation on business rates retention

While removing the current Public Health Grant ring fence will give greater flexibility to local authorities, there is a real threat that it could also lead to further disinvestment in substance misuses services.  In this article, Collective Voice sets out the conditions needed for any new funding arrangements to be considered robust and equitable and calls for improved transparency in local spending.
