At HAGA Alcohol Service we provide a wide range of help and support for Haringey residents who are concerned about their drinking or of someone close to them. Our service is open to people aged 18 or above.

HAGA has different services to meet people’s needs. Our aim is to help you make a positive changes to your drinking if you choose to. How you do that will be for you to decide. Some people choose to stop drinking altogether, while others choose to cut down their drinking.

The services you use will depend on what you, and your support worker, choose for your individual plan. A few examples of what we can offer you are:

  • One-to-one support
  • Detox (residential or at home)
  • Breaking Ground 12 Week programme.
  • Counselling
  • Polish speaking service
  • Saturday and evening appointments
  • Skype counselling

When you come along to our service you will be met by a friendly team who will talk to you about your problems in a friendly and non-judgemental way. Together we can work out the best way to help and support you. We run informal drop-in sessions, there’s no need to book, just come along. We also run hub clinics based in GP surgeries across Haringey (subject to availability):

Please note: it is not necessary for you to be registered with the GP surgery for you to attend the clinic.

Self-referrals:  You can self refer by coming in to the drop in, or you can email or phone us anytime during our opening hours.

Professional referrals: These can be made by phoning us anytime during our opening hours.

Onward referrals: Once you can have accessed our service we can make onward referrals. These include referrals to residential rehabilitation and detox, as well as mental health and complex needs referrals.
